A1/A2类型题目解法透析:
  解题范例:
  【雅思真题】In Canada, the average child between the ages of 6 and 15 watches more than 22 hours of television a week, while only spending about 8 hours a week on physical exercise. This is a worrying situation, and parents have a duty to ensure their children get enough exercise. Do you agree or disagree? Give reasons for your answers.
  考题评点:本题最近出现是2005年03月19日/2005年12月18日亚太区IELTS G类考题;该题很容易被考生错误的简单处理成一个A1(subject=television),“即看电视甚至是television的利弊讨论”,而造成离题;但其实出题者真实的意图是一道A2的题型即(doing exercise VS. television watching),特别值得一体的是,要考虑到这个考题在思考中心句的“裸奔逛庙法”时,要把“object”具体的处理为 children,而不是任何群体,此题很显然限制了“裸奔逛庙法”扫描时的思路,但也给考生提供了很好的单一练习部分;
  第1步骤:要素确定
  题型=A2
  Subject:A=watching television; B=doing exercise regularly
  Object:children,teenagers ,baby, juvenile, youngster, youth;
  可以预期的是因为object已经限定为“人”,所以中心句S+V+O+to do结构将比较多
  第2步骤:逛庙法,求得各类型EFFCT
  A . watching television作用于children上:
  2Arguments
  Educational
  Instructive programmes achieve their goal through entertaining the viewers. A lot of television programmes introduce people to things they have never thought or heard of before.
  üTelevision keeps one informed about current events, allows one to follow the latest developments in science and politics and offers an endless series of programmers which are both instructive and entertaining. Television provides enormous possibilities for education, like school programmes via closed-circuit television.
  üTelevision provides special broadcasts for those in TV University, or open university. It also offers specialised subjects like language teaching, sewing, cooking, painting, cosmetics, etc.
  Emotional
  Television may be a vital factor in holding a family together where there are,
  üeconomic problems and parents and children seem at breaking point.
  2Counter-arguments
  SEE A TEMPLE
  Television is a great time-waster. Television takes up too much of our time. People have grown addicted to television, often neglecting the necessary and more important things like meals, sleep and even work.
  üWe no longer have enough time for hobbies, entertaining activities, and other outside amusement like theatres, cinemas, sports, etc.
Educational
  Television makes the viewer completely passive because everything is presented to him without any effort on his part. Television is to blame for the fact that children take longer to learn to read these days and barely see the point at all of acquiring the skill.
  üWhat the viewer receives from television is nothing but second-hand experience. He is completely cut off from the real world.
  üTelevision stations operate as profit enterprises. Consequently, television programs are profit-based, and their commercial orientation drives them to be entertaining more so than education, for the latter are typically less profitable
